The lobby at Rove Expo City is an instant visual treat. Walking in, you’re greeted by a large, open space centered around a round coffee shop. The sleek furniture and greenery around the lobby set a relaxed yet stylish tone—perfect for casual meetups or grabbing a quick coffee.

As a Virtual Designer and someone who often works remotely, I was blown away by the co-working space at Rove Expo City. The Industrial design—with exposed materials, clean lines, and bold color pops—made the space both functional and creative. The bright yellow sofas, bar-height tables, and lounge chairs gave me plenty of options to switch up my work style throughout the day.
I loved the open layout that encourages spontaneous conversations with fellow travelers and digital nomads. Whether I was working solo or chatting with someone new over a coffee, the space felt dynamic and inspiring. There’s even a pinball table—which added a playful touch when I needed a quick mental break.

Rooftop Pool: Work, Relax, and Enjoy the View
The Rooftop pool was easily one of my favorite spots. With stunning views of the Al Wasl Dome, it felt like a peaceful oasis with a futuristic touch. What really impressed me was the covered bar near the pool, which doubles as a work-friendly space. I brought my laptop and caught up on emails while enjoying the sunshine and views—it was the perfect mix of productivity and relaxation.

Pro Tip: If you’re working remotely, the covered bar by the pool is a must. It’s the perfect place to get work done while soaking in the incredible view of Expo City.

My room felt like the perfect blend of design and function. The neutral tones, clean lines, and soft textures made it a peaceful retreat, but the real magic happened when I stepped onto the balcony. The view of the Al Wasl Dome and the surrounding futuristic architecture was simply breathtaking—like having a front-row seat to Dubai’s vision of the future.
For a travel blogger like me, it’s essential to have a space that’s both comfortable and visually inspiring, and this room delivered. Whether I was winding down after a long day or snapping Instagram shots of the stunning view, the minimalist design created the perfect backdrop.
Pro Tip: Don’t miss the chance to capture the view of the Al Wasl Dome and the Expo City skyline from the balcony. It’s pure Instagram gold, especially with the striking architecture as your backdrop.

The entire Expo City area continues to uphold its sustainability mission from the Expo 2020 event, with pavilions like Terra (the Sustainability Pavilion) still showcasing innovative solutions for the future of urban living.
